What is the most interesting thing that has happened or you’ve done in your lifetime?
Being a sail instructor in the B.V.I's I learned a lot about leadership and working with others to achieve a common goal. While there, by chance I had lunch which turned into a four hour conversation with Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman (who owns a yacht named "Amistad" by the way) and Denzel gave me a quote that I have always cherished. He said: "luck is when persistence meets opportunity". Being only seventeen at the time, this quote helped me strive for success so that when the opportunity presented itself I could get "lucky".

What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my relationships with my family and loved ones who surround me. I have been blessed with a very supportive group of resourcefull people who care for my well being, and I in turn, care for them the same and treasure their presence in my life. Tangibly, I am most proud of my fledgling business Vintage Ultra Lounge.

Name one thing you have in your home from your childhood.
My great grandfathers letter opener. Possibly my most prized material possesion.

What 13UM positions have you held?
Being a new member I am just getting my feet wet and most of my contributions are behind the scenes. I look forward to Chairing my first event in 2010 and carrying on the strong philanthropic traditions of the 13 Ugly Men. What a great group of talented and selfless individuals this is.

What committees or oganizations are you involved with?
I am a born again Bay Area resident and I chose my affiliations very carefully so at the present time, aside from the Chamber of Commerce I am solely dedicated to the 13 Ugly Men foundation.

What Chairmanships do you hold or have you held in the past?
na

Are you currently on the 13UM BOD?
No

Are you currently/previously a 13UM Officer?
No

What Charity brought into the 13UM Foundation?
Faces of Courage a survivors camp that supports victims and families of victims battling various cancers. Also panCAN, a National Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation with regional groups working on a local level with those impacted by pancreatic cancer

What is your favorite charity that 13UM Foundation has supported?
I was very impressed with the comprehensive approach of the acadamies Foundation who we supported with our '09 White Party. They have a very thurough approach to solving a problem as opposed to a one-dimensional strategy that renders so many charities.

What are your future group support plans?
To bring 13UM into a new realm being a part of producing medium to large scale music festivals that have the potential to reach a larger audience and benefit the charities we support in an even bigger way than we already do.

What have you brought to the table for the 13UM Foundation?
Operational know-how, applicable resources and the same caring and compassion that is shared between all of my 13UM brothers.
